The Victim Services Program
assists all victims of crime whose offender is on community supervision
(adult probation).
NOTIFICATION
of Community Supervision (probation) status,
hearings, assignments, changes, etc. |
PERSONAL ADVOCACY
accessing available services or rights under law, etc. |
COURT ACCOMPANIMENT
victim support, understanding judicial process,
liaison for victim issues within and between
agencies, as appropriate |
INFORMATION
on the criminal justice system, community services, assessing victim
resources and Crime Victim's Compensation (CVC) |
REFERRALS
counseling, crisis support, legal advocacy,
shelter, protective orders and other interagency
referrals, as available |
RESTITUTION SERVICES
collection and distribution of court ordered
restitution to victims, identification of victims,
restitution advocacy and liaison services
between victim and Community Supervision
