Jury Qualifications
Qualifications:
-
Must be 18 years of age.
-
Must be a resident of
Brazoria County and a
United States Citizen.
-
Must have never been
convicted of a felony or
the crime of theft.
-
Cannot currently be on
probation for a felony
or the crime of theft.
-
Cannot be currently
under indictment for a
felony or the crime of
theft.
-
Must be qualified under
the Constitution and
laws to vote in the
county in which you are
to serve as a juror.
-
Must be of sound mind
and good moral
character.
-
Must be able to read and
write English.
-
Must not have served as
a juror for six days
during the preceding
three months in the
county court or during
the preceding six months
in the district court.
