Brazoria County Burn Ban Notice

As of June 23rd, 2009, Brazoria County is under a Burn Ban.  The burn ban
makes outside burning of any kind illegal unless the fire is in a container that is capable
of containing flames and/or sparks.  Even with this, you are still only allowed to burn
household garbage or yard trimmings.  Burning any other material is prohibited whether
a burn ban is in effect or not. 

Some fireworks will be permitted this 4th of July season with the exception of aerial fireworks of any kind. (statement updated 06-23-09 - 16:38)
