Probation Officer
This position requires a four year degree
in Criminal Justice, plus 18 hours post graduate education, or one year of
related experience in lieu of the 18 hours post graduate education. The experience could be through part-time employment
or volunteer work, but must be documented to be at least 2080 hours. There is no exception to this experience
requirement. A stable work background is
also required. Applicant must also have
a clean background with no criminal history, and possess a valid Texas Driver’s
license. Candidate must have excellent
interpersonal skills, good computer skills, and excellent organizational
skills. Duties include, but are not limited
to; interviewing and preparing social history reports on juveniles referred to
the department, organizing and maintaining 50-80 case files, managing multiple
tasks related to the detention, adjudication and disposition of juvenile cases,
supervising juveniles on probation or other court orders, serving summons,
transporting juveniles, maintaining contact with parents, attorneys, law
enforcement and the courts related to the assigned caseload. Please apply at the Brazoria County Human

Internal
Auditor/Staff Accountant
Applicant must have BS or BBA in Accounting
with one year experience. Fund
accounting experience is a plus.
Candidate must have strong computer skills using Word and Excel. This position is full-time with excellent
County benefits. Starting salary is
