Marijuana, Hashish. (Grass, pot, weed, smoke, herb, Maui Wowie, Acaoulco Gold, Panama Red, Columbian, Mexican, home grown, sinsemilla, senns, reefer, roach, number, doobie, dope, joint, ganga, lid, shake, budder.)
Comments: Marijuana is smoked as cigarettes or in small bowl pipes. Hanish: A marijuana derivative, usually comes in small dark brown cubes. Marijuana is widely available on many school campuses including some elementary schools.
Paraphernalia: "roach clips" (small
alligator clips used to hold "joints"), cigarette papers, small pipes.
Marijuana has a distinctive, pungent odor which some smokers attempt to cover up by
burning incense.
Symptoms: Inflamed eyes, drowsiness, talkativeness, laughter, euphoria, relaxed inhibitions, increased appetite (particularly for sweets), disoriented behavior.
Dangers: Psychological dependence, fatigue, paranoia.
