As a Ring of Honor volunteer and sub-committee member, I would like to welcome your photo submissions and thank you for your support of this worthy cause. You may submit those photos to this email address. Please understand that the photos being presented for consideration have been given a list of criteria by the ROH Committee. They are as follows:

 1)      Photos must be of a Brazoria County active soldier or veteran.

2)      The soldier in the photo should be in a pose of strength, on guard or in salute.

3)      A simple accompanying statement of the soldier’s name, branch of service and campaign served (if any) should be sent with said photo.

These criteria were set to establish that the soldiers are or were from Brazoria County. The committee is also attempting to recognize all periods of conflict from WW I to present, if possible, and to verify the individual soldier’s branch of service because uniforms shown in photographs can be mistaken for the incorrect branch of service.

A soldier’s military record has no bearing on the selection of a photograph for the Ring of Honor. Photo selections are based solely on the pose of the soldier, its ability to represent a branch of service as a strong and imposing force and the photo’s ability to be reproduced in high quality for laser recreation.

We appreciate all submissions and any history of the soldier that you care to send. We share in your pride in the service of our men and women of the United States Armed Forces and look forward to dedicating this beautiful tribute to their service and sacrifice. Send photo to  The Brazoria County Veterans Office 451 N. Velasco St., Angleton, TX 77515 or  johnj@brazoria-county.com
